Announcement

I’m working with the Baltimore County Public Library and some of my colleagues in political science to host a series of lecture/conversations on democratic backsliding. The first lecture/conversation featuring Adam Sheingate and myself was last Wednesday. The second lecture/conversation featuring Consuelo Amat and Matt Lawrence is today at 6:30pm at the Pikesville Library. They’re both comparativists and will talk about democratic backsliding as it took place in Turkey and in Latin America. Please come if you’re able, and share if you aren’t. The next lecture will be on solutions and will be held next Wednesday before we take a month break and have a similar series at the Perry Hall library in August.
